It is almost hard to believe that we are into the last week of the regular season of BNL2015. The 2015 season of the Basketball National League has been full of boundless action which kept fans of the game glued to the action. As we steadily approach the playoffs, it can be said that most coaches will be happy with what they continue to build in their respective teams as well as provinces.
Weekend 8 will only have action on Saturday and Sunday. This is due to the 2 games that were moved to Bang Bang Friday which saw the North West Eagles take on Soweto Panthers as well as Tshwane Suns locking horns with Egoli Magic.
With that, we then look forward to the last 6 games of the regular season. Some teams will be looking to solidify their playoffs berth and seeding, and some will be looking to go out with a bang. The Marlins, Eagles and Rhinos will be fighting to tilt their records and finish their campaigns with a favourable percentage. The pick of the crop for game of the weekend is Soweto Panthers vs Western Cape Mountaineers. This might be the decider on which team will secure the 4th and final spot for the playoffs; expect fireworks.
